Can you even believe that we did such a thing?? What a riot!! We invited some friends (Toby's second family ... The Durrants) over for some "dog"-gone-good partying!! The Durrants watched Toby for a week in the spring for us while we went to the Ordyna Family Reunion and became just as hooked on the dog as we are. There's just something about this Toby that all of a sudden turns you into a dog lover. The Durrants even call to have Toby come over and play. The cutest thing of all was Kristen Durrant spending her hard earned money on a bone for Toby this last summer...and buying him the cutest little pillow for his birthday. So...with all this love......why not have a party!! Yes....I know...for many of you we've just solidified that we are CRAZY! :) But at least we're having fun. Oh yeah....I had to also make sure to post this event for my brother Danny who thinks my blog is a "Toby" blog.
Toby got all dressed up for the event in a nice sweater and shirt.....along with a nice party hat!
Yes.....he even got his own cake! They actually sell these dog cakes. I just thought it was too funny to pass up. Toby LOVED it!! He dove right into it. The funny thing was that we were all gathered around the table actually watching him eat his cake. We laughed and laughed. What a good time!
Toby's party-time gang. I sure appreciate having such fun family and friends that make the most out of life. It's great to be happy and find little things to celebrate and enjoy!! Even a dog. Thanks to ALL of you.

You are one of those crazy dog families that dress up their dogs and have parties for them! I wish we had a dog and could do the same thing, dang it! (of course our dog will be a miniature dachshund) I saw Katie today at JoAnns and she told me how color coordinated Toby was as well. Guess those talents run in the family. So Funny!!

We are at in Mountain Green and we found a wireless connection...yeah! So, I wanted to jump on see what's new you Toby...ha,ha. I laughed out loud and told everyone about your cute party. Mom and Dad raved about what a nice dog he is...like one of the grandchild. Heck, he is one of the grandchildren! I love the dress shirt with sweater...too fun. I LOVE IT!!! Toby is aging very well. I can't believe he is already one. How time flies. Pet parties...that makes me miss our cat. I think you have to have a pet to understand that it is not crazy to bake your dog/cat a cake and dress them up. Never a dull moment at your house!
Oh my STARS!!!! I LOVE IT! I am laughing my head off. You guys are so fun. My kids are now planning Maggie's next birthday party. Karly wanted me to make sure you didn't give Tobey to much sugar:) I can't stop smiling!!!!! You are the best!
