UPDATE.....Yep....we are onto day 5 of school being cancelled because of snow/ice. We are definitely getting a little weird in our house. We've done 2 puzzles, watched 9 movies, played hours of xbox and wii, decorated gingerbread houses, and watched news channel 8 continual winter storm coverage (with snow tracker doplar)..... I have no idea what is happening anywhere else in the world because they won't get off the TV....the snow is like a natural disaster or something....hmmm. There's another storm that is suppose to be rolling through this weekend...will church be cancelled for a 2nd Sunday??.....stay tuned

We feel your cabin fever over here, too. I'm ready have to drive to Mt. Hood to see the snow -- if I ever desire to actually see it again this winter. :)
Wasn't it Popeye who said, "That's all I can stand, I can't stands no more?" Sorry, that was random. I can only imagine what would happen if we got snow here. Life as we know it would stop.
We're just checking in on you, and can't believe it's been 5 days of no school!! Are they going to cut your spring break short? I hope not. It's snowing a ton here too, but as you know, it's life as usual. I wonder what my neighbors would think if I put the chains on for in-town driving. Pretty funny. Did Amanda get to do donuts in a parking lots before the chains went on?
I know the chains are CRAZY!! Bob taught Amanda how to put them on and I just sat there like an idiot. I didn't even know chains existed until I moved to Oregon...crazy part of it all is that I've lived in Utah AND the midwest all my life!! I'll tell you though, after driving with them they sure are nice ..hmmm...downside is that you can't go over 25 mph :)--ha!
