Apparently it’s not only my blog that has been suffering from my lack of attention. I guess this is what happens to a garden that you forget about.
Bob weighed it and it was 10 pounds….looked like an alligator in our garden!! I don’t know why I do a garden each year. Maybe it’s so I won’t feel too guilty during Relief Society self reliance lessons? Well, to be quite honest…..we would probably starve and die from my “self reliant” gardening!! Although, with this size of zucchini…we’re set for a year!!! :) baaahaaaahaa.

I will take any extra zuchini you don't want!!!! We love to fix the stuff.... errrr.... I love to fix it! Those are HUGE. You will be blessed for having a garden, wether it's successful for not. That's my story and I stick with it! :)

I've never thought to weigh ours that get out of control. I was in our garden yesterday and found one that has been buried under some leaves for probably a couple of weeks. It was so big I just covered it back up and left it there. I didn't want to deal with it. Maybe if I don't look, it will just go away!!! Hmmm. I may just go pick it to weigh it now! You can only make so much bread! I'm too busy with our other vegies!! Way to go for making the effort to have a garden!
It was great reading up on all your recent posts. I can't believe how tall Nathan is getting! And I could tell Derrick looks more grown up too. Amanda is beautiful as ever. Your seminary room looks AWESOME...those kids are so lucky to have you. I'm sure you make everything so fun to learn!!
Oh, and I expect a full report on what you did with all that zucchini!!
Hey! No complaining about your garden. We couldn't even get a 10 Ounce zuccini out of our weed/dead plant garden. You should feel accomplished during those 'self-reliance' lessons.

Just think, that 10 lb monster would cost you $17 at Wal-mart!
