A couple of weeks ago Bob, Amanda and I set out to make a 9'9 Goliath for the Seminary Building. It's not perfect....but I just had to show him off. We had a blast doing it and almost laughed our heads off a few times because we stink with "artsy" stuff. In fact...just to confirm the assessment...one kid asked me a few days after he'd been up..."Hey....why does he just have hair for his eyes." I told him....because I don't know how to draw eyes! Besides....I think it makes him look meaner. :) Laminating him was a JOKE! We had to cut him in half and then fold the 1/2 parts in 1/2, run him through, then slit it , refold the other way, run him through again, then slit it to open him up, cut him out then tape him back together. What in the world was I thinking???? Am I now in the same class as the relief society ice sculptures?? Ha! Well, with all his flaws....he has sure been a fun accessory to our room. During class, we slung marshmallows at the big guy. He didn't stand a chance!! We are for sure latter day WARRIORS!!!

He's pretty cool looking! This reminds me of when you decorated for the cub scout raingutter regatta! You made that huge boat that went on the wall!! What a hoot. And decorated around the tables to look like and ocean with fishies. You rock at decorating!! I can't believe you went through such effort to laminate. I would have probably just taped it with packing tape! =)
That is HILARIOUS! Makes me want to go back to Seminary...sigh.
You don't stink at artsy stuff. I think he is fierce!
He looks great! You did an awesome job and have lots of patience. With all that work, you deserve the teacher of the year award.
WOW - that is basically amazing and so hilarious!
LOVE HIM!!!!
My BIL did something similar for his primary class of boys a few years ago. They all loved throwing marshmellows.

I love it! I think you are multi-talented as a seminary teacher! I wish you were ours when I was at good old Morgan High!
That guy is AMAZING!! Wow...I can't believe you made that...that takes true dedication!
