Church Ball is GREAT!!

 Nathan LOVES church ball!!  I usually struggle with motivating him to go the extra mile.  But, with church ball there seems to be an extra fire in him.  He starts to go outside and PRACTICE (without being told).  He even works really hard to call up and organize practices with his teammates (calling people is usually really hard for him).  It is the BEST thing ever!!  I asked him why he likes Church Ball so much.  Here's what he said:

1.  You get to play with friends

2.  You don't have to worry about making the team

3.  You get to see friends from other wards.

4.  You get exercise early in the morning.

5.  It keeps my basketball skills intact.

6.  If you're lucky, you get the young women to cheer.

Well, how can one argue with those motivations??  Especially the last one - teehee.

Here's my thoughts...

1st...you get to pretend to be a superstar basketball player.

Nate has really grown over the past couple of years.  And, he gets the ability to have an amazing vertical jump from his dad.  He loves to sky-high over the other guys.

 And again... ..

2nd...It's a tad bit on the dangerous side....

You get to risk your body to save the ball....total hero!!

apply a little intimidation....

A little shoving....

 And some good ole acting.....

And it's all legal!!  A boy's dream come true!!
