SUCCESS!!....awww...the Sweetness!!

Hats off to Nathan!...He is officially off academic probation!! We got his final report card and wa-la....ALL "A's" Ohh...the relief!! The sweetness of success!!! We knew that kid had it in him!! We didn't have to talk to the teachers once. Nate had to go in there and talk with each teacher and figure out a way to get his grades up. Hats off to the teachers who were truly "teachers" and walked him through what he needed to do, allowed him to make up assignments, do extra credit...whatever it took to help him see the positive results of communication and hard work.

I will admit that, as a mom, this whole experience has stressed me out! An owner's manual would have been NICE with this!!! HELLO!! Just grateful it seems to have worked out OK. Wish me luck with the next round :)

I'm so thrilled for Nathan! He is such a good kid and smart too. Thanks for your great example Nate! And, Julie, I'm looking to you as my owner's manual. Thanks for helping me out!

Didn't you know that YOU are writing the manual for all of us?

I am so proud of Nate. I know sometimes it is hard to talk to teachers. That takes maturity! He has such confidence and determination.

Yeah for Nathan! I thinked you guys handled it very well...but what do I know, I've only been a teenager. I'm a little nervous for being a mom of one.

Sounds like you did a great job! IT's good you're not a "helicopter parent" who goes in any time there's trouble to rescue their always innocent child. I'll have to remember this for my own kids. I love that you made sure he took responsibility. What productive, successful people your kids are going to turn out to be!
