How can monkey see....so he can do?

How does the monkey sitting to the left of Nathan even see what he's suppose to play?
We went to Nathan's band concert the other night and this kid amazed me. OK...I understand the whole, "faddish -in style" concept. But, what dingle-dorf came up with this one? Hmmm...not going to happen in this house....I just LOVE Nathan's eyes way TOO much to NOT be able to see those Baby blues!! I would go in when he's asleep and cut that hair right off...or put Nair in his shampoo....Bad Mom, real bad Mom! :0
I am so grateful for my son, Nathan! He was also just called to be the Deacon's quorum president and is doing a fabulous job. He's trying so hard to change and do better. He is doing so well with sharing his room and his stuff with Derrick. I am constantly amazed with him. We get on him for A LOT of things....(boy's brains and reasoning processes just seem to make mom's a little nervous sometimes.) But, I know he is just one AMAZING young man!! I love you Bug-Man!! Keep being wonderful!!....and keep that hair short!

Of all the boys in that photo...Nate looks the best by far! So sharp! And he'll appreciate his normal/unfaddish hairstyle down the road...when he's looking back at pictures...he won't be embarassed by trendy old-fashioned hairstyles!

Julie,
I just caught up on your blog after not viewing for two weeks. You are so amazing! When I read your blog, I say AMEN! about everything. You are an amazing mom, wife, daughter, sister and friend. I was reading it aloud to Jay and he was laughing. It's so good to keep life real! JoAnn

I was not going to leave a comment but I can't pass this up. Half of the YM in our ward look like this boy or sheep dog as I refer to them. Seriously their parents need to get scissors out in the night if that is what it takes. I am up for fashion, but when you have a kink in your neck from leaning your head to one side to see THATS A PROBLEM! I think Nathan looked super sharp and Kaybay adds very handsome. Way to go Nate.
