I did some good ole laughing at this SNL skit.
I think it's because Bob just finished working out our budget for this next year and I have some serious budget cuts that hit me. It is truly sad. It's not to the point that I have to start darning my socks....but....I am keeping a closer eye on my stuff. Like today I had to get on Amanda to use her OWN eye shadow.....my "beauty supply" category was eaten alive! And that reminds me....why is it that I am considered to be old and out of style....yet...that same person who thinks that uses (steals) all my stuff!!.....hmmmm :) Weeelll good luck to you all this year!! I'm praying that Obama really can get things changed!

Julie! That is so funny! I am a fan of Steve Martin and I just found that plain hilarious. The moto was simple - don't you think?
Thanks for the laugh!! I needed that. =)
Okay...so let me get this straight. I'm not supposed to buy stuff I can't afford? Like, I actually need to have money for stuff? :)
Thanks for the laugh Julie!
Yeah! We'd love to see you! Umm, maybe you should plan 20 minutes... 10 minutes down the main road and 10 minutes back!! You're funny! They HAVE just been playing with toys that they never really got out that much in UT. And, it's kind of nice to move and change routines because although they've always been pretty good at cleaning up, I am reinforcing cleaning one thing before getting the next thing out. They're doing great! I think I have no choice because their new play room is my living room! Let us know when your trip plans are more definite!
This cracks me up.
Hey, I don't know what kind of beauty products you buy: Department store or drug store. Do you know about Walgreen's Easy Saver Rewards? Every month they have free items (after rebate). It's awesome. It is literally free. This month they have Maybeline eyeliner. They usually always have a beauty product (nail polish, lip gloss, etc) every couple of months. If you have no idea what I'm talking about let me know and I will explain more.
I remember watching that skit and cracking up!! It's so true but so sad that many people REALLY don't get it!
I hear you, girl!
but you still have checks!!!
One of my kids said that to me once, when I told them I have no money:0)
great post!
I hadn't seen that one. That was awesome! Thanks.
Funny. Another one I like is Madame Blueberry from Veggie Tales.
Fun new header and background, too!
